Optimizing Time for Teacher Development

Through a series of technical assistance sessions and coaching, we support districts and schools to assess and strengthen their systems and practices for teacher collaboration and development to accelerate efforts to continuously improve instruction and school culture.

Utilizing our Framework for High-Quality Instruction and Condition of Collaboration, we are working with schools in the Massachusetts ELT Network to integrate teacher time best practices into their school day in order to improve instruction and teacher collaboration at their schools. Participating schools complete a web-based self-assessment of their current practices to set specific goals for improvement and take part in a sequence of training and working sessions to learn about leveraging exemplary teacher practices to drive improvement in their goal areas and to work together to develop an action plan for implementation.
