Lisa brings a wide range of educational experiences to her work for NCTL. She has educational experiences ranging from kindergarten through higher education. Lisa has been a teacher, principal, superintendent, and adjunct professor for the State University of New York in Upstate New York. As part of her K-12 public school experience, Lisa was instrumental in helping teachers navigate initial implementation of the Annual Professional Performance Review process and worked extensively with the Danielson rubric.Lisa has also been an educational consultant working with K-12 organizations to improve student success. As a coach she has helped schools connect with instructional strategies that valued rigor and relevance. She has been involved in her own community by volunteering as a member of her school board and serving as a member of the local school and community foundation.
Lisa received her B.S. from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, NH and completed her Master’s degree in Educational Administration, from the University at Albany, New York. She is certified as a New York State Reading Specialist (MS in Reading). Lisa also completed her Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies at the University at Albany.
