Chelsea Murphy
As the communications manager, Chelsea works to increase the visibility of the National Center on Time & Learning by coordinating the development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy at a national, state and local level. She oversees a multi-channel marketing and communications strategy; this includes envisioning an overall strategy and supporting the various steps in between, supporting media outreach, event planning, email marketing, website management, and overseeing social media across multiple platforms for multiple brands. She produces, designs, and edits content for NCTL‘s multiple websites, email marketing, and online communication channels.
She also manages NCTL’s media relations, she leads the response to media inquiries and leads the dissemination strategy of all NCTL publications, events and collateral (including multiple electronic newsletters, marketing brochures, fact sheets and an organizational style guide).
Prior to joining NCTL’s team, Chelsea served as the communications coordinator at Points of Light, a global volunteer organization in Atlanta, GA that mobilizes people to take action that is changing the world. In that role, she created strategic digital marketing strategies and led the complete organization website redesign. Chelsea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Emory University.
